Devil May Cry 4 Review

Ill get straight to it, in Devil May Cry 4 which will now be referred to as DMC 4 due to chronic laziness is a action game brought to you by Capcom, previous games in the series such as...Devil May Cry 3 were some of the best action games ever to be played, and no 2 does not count as a game we striped it of that honor years ago. So to follow up the masterpiece that was DMC 3 developers decided we dont like to have fun and then thought of every shitty game design element they could, threw it together, and called it a fucking game.
You start out our game as protagonist Nero, who isnt quite Dante but looks exactly the same so who really cares eh? Well, I would want to say that, but Nero plays diffrently from Dante, I guess this isnt a bad thing as its fun playing him unlike when playing Dante who is so overpowered they mitus well give him the nickname GOD. Anywho the game is progressing fine with no complains, the graphics are good, the story is ok, then you get to the part where you play Dante, and this is where the game starts to phale faster then a 102 year old womens heart.
Remember that Part where I said the developers decided to do everything wrong with game design they possibly could? Well this is what I ment, after playing through a certian part of the story as Nero, they throw you to what is essentially the same levels and the same boss's, and make you do it AGAIN. If this wasn't enough, these bastards thought you loved fighting the boss's so much that they decided to let you fight them a THIRD time after this. If I am the only one who thinks this is a problem I will never play a video game again.
While all that seems horrible one of the games saving graces is the gameplay, which is thank god enjoyable. Nero is such a weak pussy that it makes his sequences rather enjoyable, with more challenge then when playing as Dante, but then that isnt saying much because this game is by no means hard unless your playing it on a difficulty like Hell or Hell. The problem occurs while playing as Dante, theres nothing wrong with his combat, its just hes so damn powerfull it stops being fun and it just feels more like "When do I get to stop fighting rocks and fight the real enemies!" Of course, the real enemies never come, and your then forced to fight the boss's for a third time while playing the most stupid fucking dice game piece of shit ever. So in the end
Gameplay 3/5
Story 3/5
Presentation 5/5
Overall 3/5
The game is just to repetitive and uninspiredg for me to suggest as anything but a rental.
